The gospel of peace and hope Go into all the world and bring forth to all men the message of good tidings, the gospel of peace and hope. The whole world lies in the darkness of evil tidings, war and despair. Men of evil are everywhere bringing forth their messages of bigotry, hatred and destruction. Brethren, let us not attempt to advance the cause of good by doing evil. Return good for evil, blessing for curse, kindness in exchange for cruelty, love for hate, and joy for sadness as we have been taught to do by our blessed Savior, Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of Heaven is not going to be established by men going to
war, nor by arguments and debates in churches and synagogues, nor by
men of valor and bravery; but by the coming of the Prince of Peace,
